Praline Crunch Cake

  • 1/2 cup Horizon Organic unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
  • 1 cup Horizon Organic reduced fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Horizon Organic butter - streusel topping
  • 1/2 cup flour - streusel topping
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar - streusel topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans - streusel topping


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour 9x13-inch cake pan.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until blended.
  4. Add eggs and instant coffee, beating well. Stir in milk, vanilla and molasses.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
  6. Combine wet and dry mixtures until blended.
  7. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  8. For topping, using a pastry cutter or two forks, cut together butter, flour, sugar and nuts until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle on top of batter.
  9. Bake 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
