Preparation

  1. Layer saltines on foil-lined 10"x15" pan. Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour or spoon boiled butter/sugar mixture over saltines. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and spread the chocolate chips over the top of cooked saltines.
  4. Place back in oven until chips are soft (not long). Spread chips with the back of a spoon then place pan in refrigerator or freezer.
  5. Once cooled completely break into pieces. Store in a cool area.
