Limited Voluntary Product Recall
Horizon Organic Dairy voluntarily recalled specifically identified 12-packs and 18-packs of our Shelf-Stable (Aseptic) 1% Chocolate Milk, 8 oz cartons sold in the United States due to its receipt of complaints from consumers about product packaging that appeared bloated and contents that may be subject to premature spoilage and may have an unpleasant taste, odor, and/or texture. Below are the specific UPC(s) and Best Before/By date(s) for the products subject to Horizon’s voluntary recall, along with images of the product.

- 12-pack (UPC 742365002700) — Best Before/By: 28 JAN 2027; 30 JAN 2027; 31 JAN 2027; 01 FEB 2027; 02 FEB 2027; 03 FEB 2027
- 18-pack (UPC 742365208867) — Best Before/By: 31 JAN 2027; 01 FEB 2027; 02 FEB 2027
A root cause investigation is now underway to determine the cause of the issues giving rise to the consumer complaints identified above, and corrective and preventive actions will be implemented to prevent recurrence.
