What's B Corp^TM?

Basically, the B Corp movement is a global movement of People Using Business as a Force for Good^®. Launched in the U.S. in 2006, it’s a third-party certification that assesses a company’s social and environmental impact. Horizon Organic^® joined the B Corp community in 2018 and certified as a standalone business in 2024. The B Corp vision is to take collective action to address society’s most critical challenges and create an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy that works for everyone.

Why do it?

Well, that whole force for good thing and transparency. To achieve B Corp certification, a company has to meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency and legal accountability.
