Preheat oven to 350°F. In large mixing bowl, combine milk, avocado, sweetener, vanilla and cocoa powder. Use immersion stick blender (or potato masher) to puree until smooth, then whisk in egg.
In small bowl, combine dry ingredients and whisk to mix. Slowly stir dry mixture into wet mixture, then stir in chocolate chips. Prepeare a muffin tin with paper cupcake liners and fill each muffin cup 3/4 of the way full. Press several additional chocolate chips into the top of each, then bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
